AESAS represents the interests of the European software producers in the automotive industry and stimulates its technological and economic development.

AESAS enables cooperative teamwork between competing companies.

AESAS identifies fields that allow potential competitors to obtain advantages by corporate appearances and by representing their common interests.

AESAS is the representative of a medium-sized industry at eye level with vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers.

AESAS finds and develops common ideas for research projects to be sponsored by European and governmental agencies and for cooperation with sponsored research facilities.

AESAS supports the development of common concepts and pushes the standardization in international committees.
